The purpose of an activity program in a facility like ours is to provide worthwhile experiences, innovative programs and therapeutic activities to not only add years to life, but life to years. Our activities program encourages patients to do things for themselves, making recreation a vital part of every day.

Our Activities Department provides activities and events for patients 7 days a week. We have regular events such as church services, bingo games, music performances, and snack socials, among other enjoyable events. In addition, our recreation staff has individualized activities for those patients who are unable to participate in group activities.

We have activity and day rooms located on each unit, in addition to our main dining room, where residents can gather to watch television, play board/card games, have social gatherings, or other events. Outdoor events in our private landscaped courtyard are also a part of our recreational offerings. In addition, our medically able patients and residents are encouraged to attend outside events with family and friends at leisure.

SPECIAL EVENTS

We host a monthly birthday party for residents and other holiday events in our recreation rooms. Our private dining room is available for residents to reserve for private birthday parties or other family gatherings at the center. Our activities staff coordinates special occasions for residents, families and partners.

BEAUTY / BARBER SHOP

We offer beautician/barber services by a licensed cosmotologist.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

We always welcome individuals or groups who wish to share their talents with our patients. We have an established volunteer program in which you can come in and entertain our patients with one of your special talents, or simply come in a few hours a week to to assist with activities. Tasks you can be involved in range from delivering mail, reading to patients, or assisting with transporting patients between their room and activities.
